I’m decent with tools and want to install a truck bed cover myself, without going to a shop or paying extra. Something straightforward that won’t require drilling or extra hardware. I drive a Ram 1500 and use it mostly for work and weekend trips. Any covers that are easy to set up but still hold up?

I installed the TruXedo TruXport on my Ram completely solo, and it was one of the easiest installs I’ve done. No drilling, just clamps and a wrench. It fit perfectly out of the box and comes with clear instructions. The cover rolls up smoothly and stays locked in place with the tailgate. Been using it through rain and snow with no leaks or issues. It’s a great option if you want a DIY-friendly, reliable cover.
