    Hey guys,
Whenever I try exporting PST contacts using CSV, symbols and special characters appear in place of accented letters. Some names get completely corrupted, especially contacts with international details. I need a cleaner way to convert PST into a format that preserves every character. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

CSV‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ exports are the most common failures when you want to export because they are not able to support rich formatting or special characters. The best way is to use a dedicated PST to VCF converter, as VCF supports all kinds of characters, accents, multiple phone numbers and custom labels.

    How I solved the problem:

    Opening

Checking characters with accents in the contacts

Converting PST to vCard format, which is compatible with Unicode

Loading the VCF file on your phone or Gmail, and everything is perfectly displayed.

I guarantee that every special character in my file was kept intact when I used WholeClear PST to VCF Converter. If you have global or international contacts, you cannot do without a reliable PST to vCard ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌converter.
