    Hi everyone,

I’m planning to replace the gutters on my home and could really use some guidance. My current gutters are old, leaking, and starting to sag in a few areas. I’m unsure whether to go with aluminum, vinyl, or steel gutters and what pros and cons I should consider for each.

Also, I’d like tips on the installation process. Should I attempt a DIY approach or hire a professional? Any advice on cost estimates, durability, or common mistakes to avoid would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

    Hi!

For materials, aluminum is lightweight, rust-resistant, and durable, but can dent. Vinyl is inexpensive and easy to install yourself, but can crack in cold weather and isn’t as long-lasting. Steel is very strong and durable but heavier, can rust if not coated, and usually costs more.

For gutter replacement Logan, DIY is possible if you’re handy, but proper slope and secure fastening are crucial to avoid sagging. Hiring a professional ensures the gutters are installed correctly and last longer. Costs vary: vinyl is cheapest, aluminum mid-range, steel most expensive.

Common mistakes include improper slope, weak attachments, and poor downspout placement.
