I chose a state where there is a labor shortage and you are more likely to get an EB-3 visa. When I chose it, it was Georgia, but apparently the website eb3.work also wrote about the fact that now is a good time for employment-based immigration in Alabama (I always check here for all the latest information on the EB3 visa). In general, it is better to choose a state based on available jobs. But in states where there is a labor shortage, it is easier to get a visa because there is a demand for foreign workers who will work for more than one year.
