I run a local fitness studio and we’re planning to expand to two new locations. Our logo and color scheme are fine, but I feel like our overall brand doesn’t fully communicate our energy and community-focused approach. How do you formally develop a brand that captures both our values and appeals to new customers in different neighborhoods?

To scale effectively, you need a structured approach to brand development. This involves clearly defining your mission, target personas, and the emotional experience you want customers to associate with your studio. Visual elements, messaging, and client interactions should consistently reinforce that identity across locations. A helpful reference is brand development definition , which explains how strategic planning, design, and messaging work together to grow a strong, recognizable brand. With this framework, your expansion will feel cohesive, helping both current and new members immediately understand and connect with your unique community culture.
