Hello. I work in a small garage gym where we regularly get these elliptical trainers, so this is a typical situation. The BC-5710G has magnetic resistance. If the handle was not in the minimum position during assembly, the cable will immediately pull the magnet to the flywheel. This makes it difficult to turn, even at “1.” Loosen it, and it will become easier to turn. This is not a malfunction.
