Hey all, I’m a software engineer with roughly five years of professional experience, though none of it is in gaming or video games.
I’ve been offered a position at a mid-sized company that develops casino games, primarily using Unity, but they apparently have other types of projects too.
I’m wondering if joining this company would be a good stepping stone into the broader games industry. Would the skills and experience I gain here transfer well, or would it be better to decline and wait for something more directly aligned with mainstream game development?
