We’re planning a large group vacation to Greece. What’s the best way to organize our transportation? We’re looking for either a minivan or two cars, but the prices are too high. Has anyone booked a transfer for a large group before? Would it be more worthwhile to negotiate directly with local carriers or use online services?

How many people are traveling eight, ten? It really depends on that, which mode of transport is more cost-effective. We once flew to Greece with friends, there were nine of us, and we naively thought we would take a couple of taxis when we got there. The taxi drivers at Heraklion Airport started offering two cars for 70€ each. In the end, a friend of ours recommended the online service GetTransfer https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/greece . We booked one minibus for all of us there. For 110€, we got a spacious 12-seater Mercedes with air conditioning and even USB ports for charging. The driver was punctual, cheerful, and even turned on music at the request of the guys.

Hey everyone! Just had another great ride using the taxi in Cyprus app and had to share. It’s so easy – I booked in seconds, and the car was here in like 5 minutes! The driver was super nice and the car was super clean and comfy. Felt really safe the whole time.

If you haven’t tried it yet, you totally should. Download the app and use the code “”Alfacy”” for 25% off your first ride. Seriously the best and cheapest way to get around the island!
