I’ve got some existing interlocking done by the previous homeowner here in Woodbridge, and I want to expand it without tearing it all out. Do you think it’s possible to match the old section with new pavers so it looks natural? Or is blending old and new just a lost cause?

Matching can be tricky, but not impossible if you find the right contractor.

We faced this issue last spring and hired https://oakshs.ca/woodbridge-interlocking-services/. They came out, analyzed the pattern and aging of the existing pavers, and were able to source a close match. They even mixed in some of the old stones with new ones to blend the transition better. Unless you’re really looking, it’s hard to tell there’s a difference at all. It took a bit of planning, but way better than starting from scratch. Saved us a chunk of money too.
