Hull City owner Acun Ilicali says he does not regret sacking Liam Rosenior last May.

Rosenior guided the Tigers to seventh, just three points outside the play-offs, in 2023/24.

He has since gone on to take over at Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, who he guided to a seventh-place finish this term.
The 40-year-old also signed a new three-year deal in France in April, amid reports of Premier League interest.

The Tigers, meanwhile, are without a manager, having sacked both Tim Walter and Ruben Selles. They survived relegation on goal difference alone.

“No, no, no,” he said, when asked if he felt as though he’d made a mistake in showing Rosenior the door.

“I talked to Liam last months maybe two or three times and we are very good friends.

I didn’t immediately understand what sport you were talking about until I saw the words about the Premier League. Well, this is the usual news for the end of the season. Nothing new. Especially since I have long switched to basketball in Sri Lanka – https://1xbet.lk/en If you didn’t know, there are many national championships that are slightly shifted in timing from world events.
